National environmental groups have welcomed
the new information from the Government's own computer model that there
is no need for new runways. The results of the new computer information
are contained in a new book, The Hidden Cost of Flying, published today
(Thursday, 20 February) by the Aviation Environment Federation (AEF)
and written by former Treasury economist, Brendon Sewill.
