I would like to object to the proposed expansion of operations at Swansea Airport:
a) Air Wales and Swansea Council have not consulted communities about additional flights over their homes;
b) there is no published medium/long term plan for airport expansion - the sky is the limit;
c) Swansea council clearly needs to seek legal advice on whether they are breaking European Law under the Habitats Directive.
d) Swansea council should assess the overall environmental impact of airport expansion in terms of pollution, noise and visual impact.Could you also explain why £620,000 of public money has been approved for Air Wales' private business enterprise?
